মুআজ ইবনে জাবাল (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত হাদিসে নবী (সা.) বলেন, ‘আল্লাহ তাআলা ১৫ই শাবানের রাতে (শবে বরাতে) সৃষ্টির দিকে রহমতের দৃষ্টি দেন এবং মুশরিক ও বিদ্বেষ পোষণকারী ব্যতীত আর সবাইকে ক্ষমা করে দেন। ’ (সহিহ ইবনে হিব্বান, হাদিস নং: ৫৬৬৫)
